A: 4 Modules will be released beginning October 28th.  This course has 2 LIVE session on November 3 & 24 which will be recorded. The modules and recordings of the LIVE sessions will remain available for you to return to as often as you like.

Who is Rusty Keeler?

From Tasmania to Texas, Rusty Keeler has spent the last 30 years traveling the world designing and advocating for children’s play. Described as a cross between Mr. Rogers and Jerry Garcia, Rusty is a frequent keynote speaker and author of multiple books on play including the recent “Adventures in Risky Play: What is Your Yes?” Rusty is the current vice president of the USA chapter of the International Play Association.

Rusty has worked with early childhood centers, schools, zoos, parks and private residences around the world to incorporate Risky Play, Nature, and Loose Parts to boost play-based learning and whole child development.

Risky Play projects that Rusty has led or been a part of: the Hands-on-Nature Anarchy Zone at Ithaca Children’s Garden, Reimagining Recess project for elementary schools, Loose Parts pop-up play at community parks. Rusty was a founding advisor for Play:Ground NYC

Rusty has led Risky Play workshops in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Indonesia, Canada and across the USA.

Rusty lives with his family beside a creek in Ithaca, NY with a treehouse, zip line, fire pit, gardens, and loads of loose parts in his backyard.
