The night before my early morning keynote as I’m tweaking my slideshow in my hotel room I get a call to come up to the party in room 416 – “there’s a guitar, drinks, and lots of singing! come on up! do you have any spoons you can bring?”
My goal was to take it easy, go to bed early, be nice and rested for my morning talk…but how could I resist that offer? As soon as I got to the 4th floor I could hear the joyous commotion. Singing and laughter flooding the hallway. Inside the room: fun-loving early childhood educators whooping it up with a medley of merry drinking songs, Newfoundland-style. check it out!! (and yes, I managed to enjoy the festivities AND still get some rest)
